Kawasan Falls

Kawasan Falls in Barangay Candasig is located approximately 22 kilometer from Tagbilaran City passing through the town of Cortes and a kilometer upstream from from the Bantayan Docking Area situated on the right hand side of Abatan River. The falls comes from the forested area of the triple boundary of Barangays Candasig, Cabad and Dorol and is visible from the Abatan River. the falls is about 25 meter upstream on the stream that can be navigated at medium water level. It is a spectacular two-stage waterfall that can also be accessed by trail from the road network. A small swimming area is  at the base of the falls. Kawasan Falls is the highlight of any Abatan River tour or visit to Balilihan.
